Learning Irish on iPhone

March 16, 2010

Now available on iPhone, Irish is the newest addition to a system of learning languages which offers an alternative learning pathway into the language. This brand of learning a second language – Byki / before you know it – promises a direct way of building vocabulary through memory, meaning and pronunciation.
Irish for iPhone comes with more than 1000 words and phrases, including some special vocabulary for St. Patrick’s Day. Every word and phrase includes native speaker sound, and Byki Irish for iPhone includes the popular SlowSound function that allows users to slow down the audio to help perfect their pronunciation – useful also in the acquisition of aural skills.
As well as Irish, BYKI is also available in Spanish, French, Italian, German etc.

Should appeal to secondary school students particularly those preparing for oral exams.
